ABSTRACT

An analytical expression of improved Hooke's law for gases connecting the pressure change with a change in density is obtained. The influence of acoustic density perturbations on the stability of laminar flow of a viscous heat-conducting gas in a flat channel is defined. This effect is taken into account via the nonlinear pressure additive that is included in a Hooke's law. The results of computing experiment are presented.

Keywords: Hooke's law, turbulence, viscous heat-conducting gas.
