ABSTRACT

The influence of dome on sonar concentration factor has been defined by methods of statistical room acoustics and statistical theory of antennae taking into account domes heterogeneity. It is established that the dome causes decreasing of sonar concentration and sonar noise stability. As a consequence the distance range of sonar action is reduced. It is shown that the influence of domes heterogeneity is similar to influence of random errors of antennaes excitation.
