ABSTRACT

The algorithm, which allows to estimate a power spectrum with the same narrow spectral width as when Hann time window is used, is considered. The level of the first two side lobes of the filter is less by 8 dB and practically the same for 3…10-th side lobes in comparison with Hann window. The algorithm is based on simultaneous usage of two different time windows. Joint application of two complex time windows does not lead to distortion of phase estimation.
