ABSTRACT
It is established that linear Hooke's law, which connects change of pressure with relative volume deformation, is broken in a stream of viscous and heat-conducting gas with cross-section shift. The formula for the module of volume elasticity, which takes into account energy dissipation and heat exchange, is obtained. It is shown that the amplitude of the module of volume elasticity is proportional to a square of a stream speed and inversely proportional to amplitude and frequency of density perturbance. The results of computing experiment are presented.
